"One Stomach Flu away from My Goal Weight..."
I had a grand plan for a fun, witty, grammar-centric post this week. Then I got a stomach virus, and all of my plans were sacrificed in my efforts to stay alive. I'm on the mend—and I've lost half a pound, so at least there's an upside.
So today's post (a day late, apologies) is instead one in an occasional series talking up a project I am working on. Don't worry that this site is going to turn into "All Promotion, All the Time," but I do want to draw attention to the great books and stories I'm lucky enough to edit.
"Seduced by the Game 2014” is an anthology of hockey-focused romances by some of today’s hottest authors. All of the proceeds from both the print and e-book sales of the anthology will be donated to the cancer charities supported by the National Hockey League through Hockey Fights Cancer**. Everyone involved in the anthology—writers, cover designers, proofreaders, logo designers, marketing gurus, editors (including me!)—has donated their time and efforts so that the maximum amount of profit can go to the cancer charity efforts.
This project has a special place in my heart as last year I lost my uncle to pancreatic cancer, my father has struggled with bladder cancer (he’s recovering well), one of my good friends has breast cancer…and the list of those I love who are affected goes on and on.
The anthology will be available on April 10th from all your favorite online booksellers.
